Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance partially launched Force, in early 2019. Based on its initial results, the project was expanded to provide fraud detection for automobile insurance across the country. Since the solution was deployed, Mitsui Sumitomo has achieved more accurate fraud detection.
According to Masatka Tokita, General Manager of the company’s Damage Support Division, “Fraud detection solutions such as Force, which uses AI on-cloud services, not just speed up the response to make changes in the claims handling process and reduce cost, but also achieve faster payments for insurance claims and that brings a great business impact.”
