Arnaud Grapinet is Chief Data Scientist at Shift Technology, where he leads the design and implementation of advanced machine learning and network analysis algorithms powering Shift’s AI-driven insurance decisioning solutions. Arnaud will be onsite at IFM, connecting with industry leaders to discuss the evolving fraud landscape and the role of next-generation AI in fraud detection.
Benjamin Tang
Head of Data Science - North America
Ben is the Head of Data Science for North America P&C at Shift Technology, where he leads the delivery of machine learning and Agentic AI solutions for the U.S. and Canadian insurance markets. He oversees the development of high-impact models for claims fraud detection and subrogation, helping insurers turn data into real-time decisioning that improves outcomes and reduces loss ratios.
Before joining Shift, Ben held senior leadership roles at IBM and Toast Inc.. He holds a Computer Science and Software Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and completed executive education at the MIT Sloan School of Business.

With nearly 30 years at State Farm, Rick Villela brings deep expertise in P&C claims, claims leadership, and large-scale process design.
